This is an 8 week in person painting class where we will work from life, our imaginations, and from reference photos. In this class we will explore color juxtapositions that are similar and opposing. Students will explore paint application as well as reduction.
In Intuitive Figure Painting the model becomes a jumping off point to learn the visual language and where representational and abstract painting collide. Students are encouraged to experiment and express themselves.
The class takes place in the instructors studio, giving students the opportunity to see works in progress each week.
