Sunset Painting Workshop
Get ready to paint one of the most beautiful times of day: Sunset! This two hour online class will be fun, and relaxing. We will paint sunsets from photos, paintings, memory, and life. We will talk color theory and look at paintings by Monet and Joan Mitchell for inspiration. Students may work in oils, acrylics, watercolors or pastels.

Acrylic glazing medium with retarder
Glass containers for water or solvent
Brushes, a variety of Flats, Filberts and rounds
Disposable pallet paper

Painting surfaces for Suggested sizes: 9”x12”, 11”x14”, 16x20”, 18”x24”
Acrylics may use watercolor paper, yupo, canvas paper, stretched canvas gesso board, gessoed wooden panel, gessoed Masonite, un-stretched gessoed canvas.
Oils if using watercolor paper, paper must be gessoed.
*You don’t have to buy all surfaces, just choose what appeals to you.
